Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to feel good about working with Times of Silicon, so here’s a plain-English breakdown of how refunds work for our sponsored posts, guest posts, and ad placements.

Changed your mind before we’ve started? No problem.

If you cancel before we’ve start writing, editing, or scheduling anything, we’ll refund you in full. Simple as that.

Already in progress, but not live yet?

If our writers have already put time into drafting or editing your piece, we’ll refund part of your payment we just hold back a portion to cover the work already done. Ask us and we’ll tell you exactly what that looks like for your order.

Once it’s published, it’s published.

Here’s the thing about sponsored and guest posts: once your content goes live on the site, that’s us delivering the service. So at that point, refunds aren’t on the table. This is pretty standard across the industry we can’t “unpublish and refund” the way a store might restock a returned item. We also can’t guarantee traffic, rankings, or leads from a published post, so refund requests based on performance won’t be approved.

Revisions are included, within reason.

Before publishing, you get a round of revisions to make sure the content is what you asked for. After it’s live, we’re happy to help with tweaks where we can, but that doesn’t reopen the door to a refund.

Guest post submitted but not accepted?

If your guest post doesn’t pass our editorial review, you’re covered full refund, or we’ll help you rework it and resubmit for free. If a post gets approved, published, and later turns out to break our guidelines (plagiarism, banned niches, misleading info, that sort of thing), we’ll pull it down, but that’s not a refund situation.

Ads work a bit differently.

Once your ad is live, we can’t refund the placement. But if something goes wrong on our end a scheduling mix-up, a technical issue we’ll make it right with a refund or a reschedule, your call.

Got a billing issue?

Talk to us first. Reach out and we’ll sort it out. Filing a chargeback for something we’ve already delivered instead of reaching out first may mean we take the content down and pause future work with you.

How to actually request a refund:

Email us at Editer@timesofsilicon.com with your order number, what you purchased, and why you’re asking. We typically get back to you within a few business days.
