The phone goes on sale on 8 October on alongside the Big Billion Days sale in Flipkart.

What Mivi gets right
The headline is the chip. Reports say it’s the only Snapdragon phone under ₹15,000, since most rivals use other brands’ processors. That’s a claim from the coverage of Mivi’s launch, so verify it against rivals on sale that day. The chip scores around 478,000 on AnTuTu.
The software promise is also welcome. Mivi says Android 16 ships without bloatware. After-sales support is the other pillar: Mivi cites more than 500 service centres and a seven-day “Replaced, not repaired” policy. For a first-time phone brand, that matters more than any spec.
Where it compromises
This is a budget phone, and it shows in a few places. Charging is only 18W, which will feel slow for a 6,000mAh cell. There’s a single bottom-firing speaker and USB 2.0.
